  7. WHAT IS NICO'S COMMANDER
  8.  
  9. Nico's Commander is a Norton Commander like file manager with exciting
  10. features:
  11. - ten or twenty application buttons you can configure to start your 
  12.   favorite application with one mouse click, and feed the application
  13.   a file you selected
  14. - show the current date and time in the title bar of the active window
  15. - built-in zip and unzip function with long file name support and ability
  16.   to create self extracting ZIP archives and archives that span several 
  17.   floppies
  18. - try out facility for ZIP files
  19. - reach icons on your desktop with one mouse click, even if your
  20.   desktop is cluttered with windows
  21. - file search (with jokers) and search for strings inside files
  22. - directory compare
  23. - file compare
  24. - Explorer-like context menus
  25. - built-in editor without Notepads limitations
  26. - use FTP sites as local disks
  27. - print ASCII files one page on a sheet (portrait) or two pages on a 
  28.   sheet (landscape)

  40. Run SETUP.EXE to install. Uninstall via Start - Settings - 
  41. Configuration - Software, or double click the icon Uninstall Nico's
  42. Commander.

  126. - Windows 95 reports 2 Gb as disk size, even if the disk is larger. Service Release 2 of 
  127.   Windows 95 (OSR2) make it possible to correct this. Nico's Commander now makes use of this.
